Azadirachtin is the most potent tetranortriterpenoid isolated till date from Neem Seeds. It, together with other limonoids present in neem seeds has proven to be very effective against more than 300 insect species as antifeedant, repellent and as an insect growth regulator at the same time not affecting the life cycles of beneficial insects like honey bees, spiders and butterflies. Perhaps the only product presently available which does not build resistance in insects.

Fortune Aza the proprietary product of Fortune Biotech Ltd., (Patented in the USA, patent no. is 5,827,521 ) is isolated from Neem seeds using state-of-the-art technology. The product is being offered in the Indian Market as an emulsifiable concentrate with an a.i. content of 0.03%(300 ppm),0.15% (1500 ppm), and 3.0% (30,000apm). In the international market, the a.i. content of the E.C will be 1.5 and 3%. The E.C. is easily dispersed in water giving a uniform milky suspension.

FORTUNE AZA - How to use. |
FORTUNE AZA (0.15% ) can be used as a stand alone product diluted with water in the rate of 3 to 5 ml per litre in tropical and subtropical climate conditions and at the rate of 10-15 ml per litre in temperate climatic conditions and sprayed during late afternoon to enhance duration of wetting. The first spray should be carried out as soon as the eggs start hatching and further sprays at 7-10 days intervals depending upon infestation.
As an integrated pest Management component, in conjunction with chemical insecticides, FORTUNE AZA at the rate of 3ml/litre and synthetic chemical pesticide at 50% the normal applicarion rate is recommended.
